Calvary Pentecostal Church, is a church that is growing into a body of believers who love one another, encourage one another, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are becoming a disciple building centre that will propel and equip Jesus followers to reach their family, workplace, and city for Jesus.  We will see lives transformed, the oppressed set free, those hurting healed, marriages restored, families strengthened, and people brought into relationship with Jesus. Calvary is a church you can call Home.

As soon as we are able (equipment problems) We will  weekly add the sermons to the site so that those who are not able to attend can still hear the Word and keep informed about the Church.  We invite you to listen to the sermons and share them with your friends.

Calvary Pentecostal Church exists to the praise and glory of God.  The church first started in various homes throughout Kenora in 1938 and by 1941 was an official part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.  Their first pastor was evangelist and missionary C. A. Barker.  Since that time the church has moved to several different buildings in Kenora and is presently located on 1460 Valley Drive.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28: 19-20  (ESV)
