What Time is the Service:
Our worship Service starts at 10:45am. Our evening service (from Sep – May) begins at 7:00pm. We have ample parking next to the building and spaces for handicapped. There are no steps to our building so you can proceed with ease into our sanctuary.
We encourage parents to keep their children with them throughout the entire service. But we also offer a safe place for children to play during the service, this room is dedicated to those ages 5 through 11 and will be attended to by one of our screened qualified volunteers. For younger children we also have a nursery available and a nursing room. Our nursery is not staffed so you will have to watch your own children. An audio speaker is in the room so that you can hear the service while being in the nursery.
How should I dress?
You’ll notice that everyone is dressed comfortably, in anything from suits, office casual, to jeans, shorts, flip-flops and sneakers. You should wear what you’re comfortable wearing.
What’s the music like?
The worship service that entails music is more contemporary in nature meaning we use guitars, vocals, keyboards, drums, and an overhead screen so worshipers can follow along with the words.
Will we ask for money?
We do provide an opportunity for our regular attendees and members to give an offering each week. We believe that tithes and offerings are an important part of the believer’s relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no charge for you to come, and you need not feel guilty if you have nothing to put in. We hope you will simply be our guest on your first visit. We do hope that you will take time to fill out the visitor’s card provided.
What is the preaching like?
The messages are interesting, enjoyable, and relevant to daily life. The message will always be Biblically based. Hopefully, you’ll laugh at times and maybe feel a tug at your heart too – our goal is to be a vessel through which the Spirit of the Lord speaks to you directly.
How long is the service?
We focus on spending quality time in God’s presence but also honouring your time. The morning service ends at 12 pm. After the service hope you’ll stay around, meet some people or even join us for lunch at one of the local restaurants. Occasionally we have pot luck lunches or banquets throughout the year. The evening service (Sept – May) typically ends around 8 pm.
Are the morning service and the evening service the same service?
The morning and evening services are completely different. The musical part of worship in the evening service is mainly hymns and the use of an organ, the message delivery will be the same but the passage or topic will be different than that of the mornings message. A lot of people attend both services.
